About Career Companion

Career Companion is a career-intelligence product. It remembers a person's whole working life — every role, every accomplishment, the things they have stopped mentioning — and builds their applications from that record rather than from a blank page.

Why it exists

Most tools in this category help you produce a document. Very few help you keep track of your own career, and almost none will tell you when they cannot stand behind something they have written for you.

We built this for the professional who was never handed the playbook — who has done the work, but has never had someone in their corner who knew their history and could tell them what it was worth. That is the job: a companion for the arc of a career, not a form filler for the moment.

What we will not do

We will not put a claim on your resume that your own history does not support. When the evidence behind something is thin, we show you that it is thin instead of writing around it. When we cannot read part of a document you have given us, we tell you plainly rather than quietly dropping it.

This sounds like a small commitment and it is not. A tool that invents a plausible career for you is worse than no tool at all, because you will not catch it and the person reading it might.
